J’ai déjà eu ça : une selle plus basse, pas suffisamment pour que ça saute au yeux, mais assez pour faire mal…

OK all you fitting experts. What's been your experience with increased/decreased Q factor and chaffing.
I get severe chaffing and actual abrasions on inner thighs where they contact saddle, and also in the creases "down there" between thighs and, well, you know. I get cuts there, too. I have about 1,600 miles in this year so it's not just that I need more miles. The problem is getting worse as I increase the length of my rides. At 25 miles the discomfort was minimal. At 60+ miles it unbearable - I'm on fire down there, and not in a good way. I am at point now where I may need to be off bike for a few weeks just to heal.
I did notice when I reduced the Q factor on right side (I had been running a pedal extender just on right side, and had no abrasions) by taking pedal extender off I got abrasions and cuts and chaffing on right side, too. I've had the problem all year on left side with no pedal extenders there. I used the pedal extenders on right side because I have problems with right foot and leg and heel wants to point in, which on steep climbs can be a problem if it contacts the chain stay. I've been experimenting and took pedal extender off and had the abrasion problem on right side, where before it was just on left.
Oh - my right leg is about 1/2" shorter than left, too, and much weaker. So those are added variables.
So - if I use pedal extenders on both right and left sides do I have a chance of reducing the chaffing abrasions and cuts? Have any of you ever seen positive results from increasing Q Factor and eliminating severe problems like I have?
